i would also like to make the words seem floating on the page, and i can do this by using flash.

this site is quite inspirational, its a personal of henrikk nudsen, showing his collection of work. the mouse roll over is interesting but kind of hard to follow, since the roll over fades slowly.

good to see the direction towards animation of text. Wil show you in class some samples. Can you give me a short conceptual / theoretically basis for treatinf space this way? good work!
